Learning to draw what you see, not what you think you see, this course leads the student step by step through a process of lines, textures, values and movement all to the end purpose of drawing true to life animals, domestic and wild. Animals, just like humans, each have their own character and presence. During this introduction level we learn to appreciate these principles and how to develop our own individual approach and interpretation of them. The medium used will be graphite, charcoal and ink while experimenting with different types of paper. The object is to create and to have an enjoyable time while doing this and, of course, to produce beautiful fur and feathers
